The seventh annual employee recognition events will kick off on May 15 with an Ice Cream Social at the Tate Center Grand Hall. All Finance and Administration employees are invited to attend and enjoy hand-dipped ice cream with all your favorite toppings as well as fellowship with your F&A colleagues.
The festivities will be capped off by the Recognition Ceremony on May 16, where we will honor more than 200 Finance and Administration staff members who will have achieved five-year service milestones (i.e., 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years). In addition, we will present four Merit Awards for individual service excellence in the categories of Customer Service, Unsung Hero, Tough Dawg and Newcomer. Employees are nominated by their peers for these awards. To learn more about the awards, click here.
Each and every employee is a valued member of the Finance and Administration team—a team composed of the physical, fiscal and human specialists that provide the foundation on which the University of Georgia operates. I look forward to the opportunity to say “thank you” for your loyal and outstanding service.
The annual recognition events are planned by the members of the division-wide Recognition Committee.
