Third Annual Employee Recognition Day
May 15, 2008
The dedicated service of
Finance and Administration employees was acknowledged
at the third annual Recognition
Ceremony and Ice Cream Social held on May 15, 2008. Employees
who reached five-year service milestones as of July 1,
2007 were congratulated at the morning ceremony held in
Hodgson Hall of the Performing Arts Center. In addition,
winners were announced for each of the four merit awards:
Customer Service, Newcomer, Tough Dawg and Unsung Hero.
Although the threat of rain forced the ice cream social
indoors to the Student Learning Center rotunda, it didn’t
dampen the spirit of those who attended the festivities.

Hodgson
Hall of the UGA Performing Arts Center provided an elegant
setting for the third annual Finance and Administration Recognition
Ceremony.

Vice President for Finance and Administration Tim Burgess welcomed
employees to the ceremony.

Nesbit led the audience in a round of applause to congratulate
employees who achieved five-year service milestones.

others’ company on the lawn of the Performing Arts Center
after the ceremony.
