Contract
for Domestic Express Mail and Package Delivery
In
March 2007, the Department of Administrative Services, State
Purchasing Office, issued a statewide contract for domestic
express mail and package delivery jointly to
United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) and Federal Express Corporation (FedEx).
It
is mandatory for all state agencies to utilize either UPS
or FedEx for the following services: standard delivery, premium
next day delivery, standard next day delivery, and second
day delivery.
You
may utilize the vendor of your choice for the following types
of shipments: oversized shipments, refrigerated shipments,
hazardous shipments, and any other services not specifically
listed as mandatory to UPS or FedEx.
You
may utilize the vendor of your choice for the following types

All
shipments must be manifested through a UPS compliant technology
system. No paper-based hand-written shipping forms will be
