Fourth Annual “New to F&A Day”

All employees who had joined the Finance and Administration workforce since July 1, 2007 were invited to attend the fourth annual “New to F&A Day” held on Monday, May 11, 2009. The day’s activities provided information on the breadth and scope of Finance and Administration (which includes more than 1,600 employees in seven divisions); enlightened employees on opportunities for interaction in the local community; and created a means for networking within Finance and Administration, including meeting the leaders of the various divisions.

The concept of “New to F&A Day” was developed by the division-wide Finance and Administration Diversity Committee, and is implemented each year with the help of staff from the Office of the Senior Vice President.

The annual “New to F&A Day” program includes the following:

• Breakfast with Community Leaders
• Walking Tour of Downtown and North Campus
• Presentation by Senior Vice President Tim Burgess
• Lunch at Sanford Stadium’s SkyClub with Finance and Administration Senior Staff
• Sneak Peek of the Tate Student Center Addition
• Bus Tour of Campus
• Campus Services Fair
