Station Post Office
The University
Station Post Office handles retail transactions. This operation
is located on the lowest level of the Tate Student Center.
The Post Office is easily reached by parking in the Tate Center
pay lot and is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through
Friday. There is no window service on Saturday. Mail may be
picked up from mail boxes 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, using
the street entrance. Both small and big boxes are for rent
semi-annually and annually. Rates depend on current postal
regulations.
The University
of Georgia has its own zip code, 30602, which is used by all
departments. All residence halls have the zip code 30609 and
the box holders of the Tate Post Office have the zip code
30612.
Pickup
for the Georgia Center mail boxes is 5:00 pm.
Other
Post Office facilities: The main office on Olympic Drive,
the downtown office at the corner of Lumpkin and Hancock Streets,
the Alps Road Station, and the Georgia Square Mall office.
There is a substation at Add Drug Store, 1695 S. Lumpkin
Street at 5 Points.
