INTERNATIONAL
PACKAGES
The
United States Post Office (USPS) requires all mail or packages
being sent to an international destination to have a custom
forms attached. International mail is subject to custom examinations
in the destination country. The contents and value of an item
must be declared on the applicable customs form. Additionally,
the custom form must be completed by the mailer.
The U.S. Post Office requires all international packages to
have a customs form attached.
Packages weighing 1 to 4 lbs require
customs form #CN22
Packages weighing 4 lbs and over require
customs form #2976-A

Addressing
International Mail
It is recommended by the USPS, all International mail be printed
in all uppercase letters. If possible, addresses should have
no more than five lines. The last line of the address must
include only the complete country name (no abbreviations)
printed in upper case letters. For example:

OFFICE BOX NUMBER
Line 3: CITY OR TOWN NAME, OTHER
PRINCIPAL SUBDIVISION (i.e., PROVINCE, STATE, COUNTY, ETC.)
AND POSTAL CODE (IF KNOWN) IN FRONT OF THE CITY OR TOWN NAME

of international mail should place a card inside the parcel
showing the names and addresses of the sender and addressee.
