Finance
and Administration Diversity Committee
As a
result of the Office of the Senior Vice President for Finance
and Administration’s (F&A) continued commitment
to furthering diversity in its divisions, a committee was
formed in 2004 and charged with defining and recommending
ways in which F&A could achieve a more diverse workforce.
The Finance
and Administration Strategic
Plan served as a model and base
for the committee’s recommendations.
Diversity is defined as the characteristics that make one
individual different from another. From staff new to the
campus to the seasoned employee, opportunities to enhance
diversity differ greatly. The F&A senior leadership team
is currently implementing initiatives to enhance recruitment,
promotion and retention based on the committee’s recommendations.
To learn more about the programs, consult the F&A
Staff Development Program.
