Danny
Sniff provides leadership and direction for the implementation
of the University of Georgia’s Physical Master
Plan. As the University’s chief architect, he is
responsible for the maintenance of high standards for
architecture, engineering and planning in support of
the academic mission of the University of Georgia. Over
the past seven years, the Office of the University Architects
for Facilities Planning has overseen more than $1.3 billion
in construction projects on the University campus.
Sniff
joined the University of Georgia’s Physical Plant
Division in 1988, following time as an architect in the
private sector. He served as both senior staff architect
and assistant manager of operations and maintenance prior
to joining the Architects Office as assistant director.
Sniff
earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from
the University of Tennessee and a master’s of business
administration from Brenau University. He is presently
working on a master's degree in landscape architecture from the
University of Georgia.
