of Georgia is exempt from Georgia Sales & Use Tax and
all Federal Excise Taxes unless the taxes are specified on
the Purchase Order. Contact the Procurement Dept. for

Charge
Purchases: The University authorizes the use of
official Procurement/Charge Cards by approved departments.
For all other purchases, The University Procurement Office
is the only agent authorized to purchase on a charge Basis
for the University of Georgia.
Guaranty:
The University of Georgia is an agency of the State of Georgia,
and therefore, the payment of all legally incurred obligations
of the University is guaranteed by the sovereign State of
Georgia.
